CORIS VS. STRIPE RADAR

Why companies choose Coris

Radar is built into Stripe to catch fraudulent transactions. Radar for Platforms, Stripe's answer for merchant-level risk, is still in public preview. Coris is a purpose-built risk platform, independent of which processor you use, with merchant intelligence, fraud models, monitoring, and case management in one system.

Where Coris goes further

01

One risk program, independent of your processor

Radar only sees what happens on Stripe. If you process anywhere else, or ever want to, your risk program breaks apart into per-processor silos. Coris runs the same underwriting, fraud, and monitoring program across Stripe, Adyen, TSYS, and Fiserv, so switching or adding a processor doesn't mean rebuilding your risk stack.

02

Merchant intelligence Radar doesn't have

Radar's models are built from payment network data: transactions, cards, disputes. Coris feeds risk rules, fraud models, and manual reviews with SMB-level signals Radar doesn't collect: website content, online reviews, adverse media, and prohibited keyword screening, layered on top of transaction risk.

03

Monitoring for the risk events Radar doesn't flag

Radar scores transactions and, in preview, connected accounts. It doesn't alert your risk team when a merchant changes payout bank details, or tell you which of your dormant accounts just became active again. Coris monitors the operational signals that sit outside transaction fraud, so nothing depends on a merchant's payment activity to get noticed.

04

A system of record Radar doesn't provide

Radar generates scores and reports; it isn't a workflow tool. Merchant-level review today means exporting Sigma reports and merging them with internal tables by hand. Coris gives risk teams a case management system built for merchant-level work: alerts route to a case, cases get owners, and every decision is logged in one place.

What our customers say

Quote

Coris covered our full risk surface, seamlessly worked alongside Stripe, and did it with almost no lift. Coris let us scale risk without scaling headcount, and gave our leadership real confidence in our payments program.
